Dr Massey also spoke of the Samoan Database (SADATA)-Support Tool, a recent software program developed to assist with launching Human Rights and Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) related programs, which is currently being used in Samoa.

In other areas of interest, Dr Massey spoke of the Child Friendly Court Procedures Programme in Fiji, which has been replicated in Nauru and Vanuatu, along with the roll out of the United Nations 5 Year UN Pacific Strategy.

At the end of the presentation there was time for Q&A with Dr Massey, with many questions focused around the current issues in Nauru, where she discussed the negative effects of incarceration on the detainees, particularly on children and young adults.
