Roll Back Malaria Partnership Urges Greater Private Sector Engagement to Fight Malaria in the Asia-Pacific in Advance of World Malaria Day

In the lead-up to World Malaria Day, recognized around the world annually onĀ 25 April, the Roll Back Malaria Partnership (RBM) and the Asia-Pacific Leaders Malaria Alliance (APLMA) gathered corporate leaders, government officials, foreign diplomats, development experts and civil society for an event in New Delhi to urge greater private sector engagement and cross-sector collaboration to advance the fight against malaria.

World Malaria Day: 25 April

World Malaria Day is a chance to shine a spotlight on the global effort to control malaria. Each year, Roll Back Malaria (RBM) partner organisations unite around a common World Malaria Day theme. Invest in the future: defeat malaria is a three-year theme partners chose for the period of 2013-2015 to call attention to the need to reach the 2015 Millennium Development Goals and defeat malaria in the future.
